SPEEDYQUIP BREAKFAST RUN

On Sunday, June 9th 2024, we hosted our annual Breakfast run in aid of the Lions Club Charities.
The day started out with perfect blue skies, a crisp chill in the air and absolutely zero wind.
As the sun rose, riders and their respective motorcycle clubs began filling in for our pre-meet at Speedyquip.
Our destination, The Thornhill Hotel.
A stunning array of two-wheeled tarmac machines lined Prince Alfred Road.
With the most amazing riding conditions at hand, open roads, blue skies, we hit the road.
The roar of 75 + bikes simultaneously is enough to raise anyone's heart rate!
After enjoying the short cruise,
the crew arrived at Thornhill Hotel to enjoy some downtime with some quality roadie food:
a double egg roll with bacon, boerie, tomato & onion mix,
to be washed down with some coffee and a coldrink / beverage of your choice.
The Hotel crew set up some fires to offer some warmth against the crisp air,
and our lucky draw competition took flight post brekkie.
Some great prizes were won by our riding crew members, guests were seen walking of with helmets, tyres, tank pads, leathers, jackets, lubricants, caps, vouchers and more.
A big thank you to all the motorcycle clubs and their riders for attending this event in aid of charity,
a big thank you to our sponsors, to Thornhill Hotel for accommodating us
and to True Friend Production for the photo's.

Our year-end feature brings world class motor vehicles, bikes and performance cars to our doorstep!
It was a great day of motoring action with team #motuloilsouthafrica and the active product demonstrations,
their very own drag crew arrived and showcased their drifting vehicles.
Cars & Coffee, our a free event is open to the public and is also family friendly.
Bring the kids along and share in some wonderful history and modern examples of the motoring world.
Join us and enjoy a display of veteran and vintage cars, V8's, modern day performance,
golden oldies, monster trucks, bikes, trikes and much more.
We offer free Tea & Coffee to visitors on the day, as well as have boerie rolls or chip and dip
available for sale if you're craving a snack.
